During the summer I travelled to Oaxaca, a mountainous region in the southern part of Mexico. I lived with a Mexican family, attended the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca, and took language, cooking, and back-strap weaving lessons to learn more about Mexican culture. Here are some of the photos from my adventure and a link with information about the area.
