Expectations for Written Work
It is expected that all work be your own. Plagiarism in any form will result in a zero for the entire project. Please review the definition and consequences of plagiarism in Writers' Inc and your school handbook.
Formal papers are to be typed, double-spaced and in 12 point font. Margins are to be one inch. All papers should include your name, class and date typed on the upper right hand corner. Page numbers should also be included.
All assignments that demonstrate research require proper bibliography and footnoting.
Write as though you are introducing your topic to a reader for the first time. Take time to explain your topic in a concise manner.
Books are in the present tense, while events are in the past tense.
